Bob and I spent the weekend in Amsterdam. We had such a great time! Amsterdam is a gorgeous city full of wonderful old buildings and a lot of wonderful canals. We had fun and saw a lot of things. We went on a one hour canal boat ride, played around in the Van Gough Museum, took a half day trip to the Madurodam which is a minature village that contains almost every Dutch landmark building which has been reproduced on a miniature scale, saw Madame Tussauds wax museum, and the Amsterdam Dungeon. I think the neatest thing we did was the Anne Frank House. It was amazing to actually go through the actual house that hid these people for two years. I bought the Diary of Anne Frank to read again too. We had the most amazing food there (best steak we have ever had!)and we met a lot of great people...we even met one lady who was from S.L.C., Utah! We have been so lucky to be able to go and see all these neat places while we are here living in England. (19 pics)
