This is where we boarded the ship. We didn't get to spend a lot of time in Genoa the first day, so we stayed in a hotel in Genoa for a day so we could explore the city.
The first day on a cruise is always fun...exploring the ship, seeing your cabin, the people who you will be sharing a table with, and of course the fun safety drill.
Collin met a new friend from Australia named Reece and it turned out that his parents were staying the extra day in Genoa in the same hotel as we were, so they were able to spend some time together.
In Genoa we spent the day taking a train tour, looking around the international fair, and spent a great deal of time in L'Acquario di Genova which in English is the Genoa Aquarium.
